Located in Orland, California, Brownfield Ranch is run by 5th generation beef cattle ranchers from Northern California. We are a family operation who have expanded our business to include lambs as well as cattle raised for meat. We also occasionally have puppies for sale, if you need to add a little love to your home.

Our beef is locally raised on pastures located in Northern California. Our herd started out as mostly Herefords but we’ve got quite the assortment of breeds now.
We still have Herefords, but now we’ve also incorporated Angus, Charolais, Scottish Highlands, Longhorns, Belted Galloways, White Parks, High Parks, even some Jersey and Holstein nurse cows. We love our animals. Many have names, and even our littlest rancher can tell each one apart. We farm because we love the work and we always strive to keep our animals happy and healthy.
Our lamb is raised in pastures located in Northern California. Our herd consists of Dorpers which are raised primarily for meat.
Though they do have a lovely sheep shed for shelter from the occasional day of bad weather, our herd prefers to wander the sun drenched fields of the property and hang out with the cows and they donkeys.
